BPM Book Presentation

Business Process Management (BPM)
Concepts, and How to Apply and Integrate it with IT

In this new version of the book, whose structure consists of two main parts, we insert ourselves again into the foundations of this discipline, to implement them in a close and simple way.

The structure of the book consists of two main parts:

Part I “Concepts of BPM” describes the status of the largest theoretical concepts of BPM that are somehow associated with specialized branches of other business disciplines, such as the business management theory and computer science models. In this sense, BPM is understood as a discipline that includes other business disciplines to an integrated model of planning, management and technological platforms.

Part II “How to apply and integrate it with IT” of this work is devoted to present implementation concepts, largely developed by the author, understanding this as a change planning process to put into operation the relevant action in each of the layers of the organization. This second part integrates process models and technological support at each of the BPM layers.

The book is aimed at all professionals from different organizations, whether they are public or private that need or want to be incorporated in this management discipline by processes. It is also addressed to students and university professors of industrial and computer sciences, and generally to business schools and business management.
